EXAMPLE ANALYSIS

The charts are useful.
The assumptions matter more.

Four selected static charts from one synthetic tyre-processing scenario. They use the integrated corrected model and illustrate what an evaluation can communicate, without exposing customer data or running the financial engine on this public website.

Illustrative scenario, not a project forecast. The financial policies are provisional and the outstanding workbook EIRR discrepancy remains unresolved. These charts are offline examples, not verified plant performance or calibrated investment returns.

ONE SHARED SCENARIO

50 TPD. A documented operating basis.

Shared assumptions for all four public example charts
ParameterSynthetic example assumption
Capacity and operating days50 tonnes/day; 320 days/year; 16,000 tonnes/year
Mass yieldsOil 40%; recovered carbon black 35%; steel 10%; gas/process balance 15%. Gas is not sold in this example.
Product pricesOil NOK 5,000/tonne; rCB NOK 6,000/tonne; steel NOK 500/tonne. Steel explicitly uses its selected price, overriding the workbook oil-price linkage for this example.
Gate fee and carbon credits+NOK 500 per tonne of incoming tyres, received as revenue; no carbon-credit revenue.
Annual revenueOil 32.0, rCB 33.6, steel 0.8 and gate fees 8.0 MNOK. Total: 74.4 MNOK. MNOK means million NOK.
Investment and operating costs178 MNOK plant CAPEX plus 22 MNOK unallocated allowance = 200 MNOK upfront investment. Aggregate annual OPEX: 51.617 MNOK; component allocation remains unresolved.
Financing and taxes50% debt; 7% interest; 10-year debt tenure; two-year principal grace; 22% tax; 10% discount rate.
Horizon and depreciation20 annual operating periods; equipment/building depreciation lives of 10/20 years.
01 / REVENUE

Understand where the revenue comes from.

Product quantities connect the assumed mass yields to the selected oil, recovered carbon black and steel prices. The example also includes gate-fee revenue from incoming tyres.

No carbon-credit revenue is included. Market prices are scenario inputs, not buyer commitments, product qualification or a guarantee of saleable output.

Synthetic annual revenue breakdown: pyrolysis oil 32.0, recovered carbon black 33.6, steel 0.8 and gate fees 8.0 million NOK, with no carbon credits

02 / INVESTMENT & COSTS

Separate upfront investment from annual OPEX.

The example distinguishes plant CAPEX from the unallocated investment allowance. Funding is based on their combined 200 MNOK upfront amount.

OPEX is the existing aggregate annual cost table value. The chart does not invent labour, utility or maintenance allocations, and the separate labour estimate is not added again.

03 / CASH FLOW

Follow the equity cash requirements.

The series starts with a 100 MNOK equity injection at year zero. Twenty annual year-end equity flows follow, after interest, tax and debt principal.

It uses provisional full operation from year one, no tax-loss carryforward and no terminal recovery. It is equity cash flow, not project cash flow. The chart does not claim an approved payback or standalone return.

Synthetic equity cash-flow example: minus 100 million NOK at year zero followed by twenty annual year-end cash flows after interest, tax and principal repayments
Corrected-model provisional equity cash flow · year-end timing · no validated project forecast
04 / SENSITIVITY

Find the assumptions worth investigating.

The example changes one price at a time around the same base: oil and rCB ±NOK 500/tonne, gate fees ±NOK 100 per feedstock tonne, and steel ±NOK 100/tonne.

The horizontal axis shows percentage-point change in provisional equity IRR. These public example stress widths are explicitly selected for this synthetic scenario; the interactive dashboard retains its existing widths. No carbon scenario is included.

Provenance and verification limits. Offline snapshot TYRE-MODEL-EXAMPLE-01, model source 6aa26db. The stored synthetic inputs and chart values are checked against the corrected engine in regression tests. Financial policies remain provisional. The remediation reference comparison recorded 16 numerical matches out of 17, with EIRR unmatched; saved project IRR and saved equity IRR use different cached cash-flow bases and are not interchangeable. No independent workbook recalculation has been completed. Read the methodology.
